Brief Answer:
Pelvic infection or ovarian cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Pain in the lower abdomen, aggravating during ovulation can be due to pelvic infection or due to ovarian pathology like cyst.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined internally, investigated including ultrasound, vaginal swab examination and get appropriate treatment.

Dear Doc,
Thanks for the reply. I have undergone ultrasound and prolactin test according to my gynaecologist and I found that I have fibriod of the size 1.5mm and my prolactin is 36ng/ml, which is high from the normal range. She advised me to have caberlin/cabgolin for 1 month and she gave me some tablets for infection (VDM-KIT, clingen forte and canditral). Yesterday I had cabgolin and in the night my period started and the pain was inbearable. Want to mention this-I had already eaten 3months course of caberlin before in feb, 2015 and since that time this pain started. So, I was thinking is it really to the tablet for prolactin or is it an infection. And about the vaginal swab test when can I undergo that test-during the discharge time or anytime because the discharge has stopped but the pain is still there. I am single and unmarried and I am so scare thinking whether it will affect my future pregnancy. Please help me out.

Brief Answer:
Pain not related to cabergoline
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Pain during periods is not due to or related to cabergoline.
It is due to pelvic infection or endometriosis, or simple spasmodic dysmenorrhea.
If you are not sexually active, then there are no chances of pelvic infection, and there is absolutely no need for vaginal swab examination.
However, you should get a ultrasound done to rule out any ovarian cysts or endometrioma.
Endometriosis does affect future fertility, however, confirmed diagnosis should be made.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
