Brief Answer:
Can try topical Imiquimod cream.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for asking.

I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Warts are due to viral infection and spread by touch. As it touches, other areas, it would spread.

As you have tried different kinds of treatment with minimal results, improvement in immunity would be the final choice. You must have already tried chemicals, freezing, burning, duct taping and cutting.

1. Topical Imiquimod cream helps in stimulating the immune system to eliminate the wart. Mild irritation may be seen at the location. You will need a prescription from your doctor.

2. Weak immunity favors growth of virus. Nutritional improvement is necessary. Protein rich diet with vitamin supplements can help in improving immunity. Immunotherapy or immunomodulating agents are useful, but at this age I do not think he will tolerate the treatment.

3. Itching is possible due to dry skin. Antihistamines could help. Avoid scratching as it can spread. Scratching will also release certain chemicals in skin like histamines, which will enhance itching. It will start like a cycle. Avoid scratching.

This treatment works for viral warts. Hopefully, it is viral warts. If you can send me 2-3 images, I can be more sure that I am dealing with viral warts. Avoid touching it and touching other areas.

Since how long are these warts present? How did it start? Do give me more medical and treatment details and also if any chronic diseases he is suffering from.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
