? Acute urticaria
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand from your query that you have been having itchy rashes from last 1 week.
Could you give me more details so that I can assess better?
1. Are these rashes transient? Do they disappear completely and then reappear again? Or have they been in the same place since they appeared?
2. Do you have any associated swelling of your lips or eyelids?
3. Have you started taking any new medications 1-2 weeks prior to onset of these rashes?
You have a feature to upload the images by yourself at the right side of the query page, please utilize that so that I can answer your query better. You can also send the image as attachment to YYYY@YYYY , with the subject as 'Attn: Dr. Johny Chacko'.

Clinical Possibilities
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome back.
With your additional history, the possibilities I can think of include a fungal infection ( Tinea corporis), Allergic contact dermatitis, air borne contact dermatitis and urticaria.
A Fungal infection needs to be treated with an anti fungal cream like 1% Clotrimazole applied twice a day for 2 weeks.
Allergic contact dermatitis and air borne contact dermatitis occur due to allergens you could possibly have come across while working amidst plants. The allergens are like pollen which deposit on the folds of your body like neck folds, behind the ears, eyelids, etc and elicit itching and a reaction, more so when exposed to sunlight.
The treatment would be avoiding the allergen and to apply a cream containing 1% Hydrocortisone cream twice a day for 2 weeks to reduce the rash.
Urticaria is an allergic reaction which has several causes. This is usually characterized by transient rashes, but I would still keep in lower down in my possibilities.
In all above conditions, you could take an antihistamine like Benadryl at bedtime for symptomatic relief of itching.
Please send me a clinical picture so that I can assess better.

? Insect bite reaction, ? Contact allergy
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for uploading the picture.
Unfortunately, the rash is not very clear in them but I do see 2 small papules or excoriations on your forearm.
I would consider the possibilities of an insect bite reaction and an allergic contact dermatitis ( allergy to certain plants including brush).
You could follow the following suggestions-
1. You could apply a cream containing 1 % hydrocortisone twice a day on the rashes.
2. Do avoid handling plants and limit exposure to them as well. In case you do expose yourself to the plants, wash the area thoroughly with water as soon as you can.
3. Wear full sleeved and high collared clothes while working outdoors so that the pollen does not deposit on the skin folds.
4. You could take an antihistamine like Benadryl at bedtime for 5-7 days.
Hope this helps you.
If you have any more queries, I will be glad to assist.
Wishing you good health,
Dr. Johny Chacko
