What Causes Joint Pain While On Lisinopril?
Question: for the past few week i have been having warm/hot sensations in my joints , elbows,knees
thought it was associated with a cold sore infection but the cold sore is healing and still have the heat sensations in joints to the point its keeping me awake at night

i take 10mg lisinopril for hbp. I am not a diabetic.

I have studied your case. Lisinopril can cause joint pain as side effect. I would suggest you following.
1.Take 60000 unit vitamin D3 daily for per week for six weeks.
2.Tablet calcium 1000 mg one daily.
3.Tablet Methylcobal 1000 microgram daily.
4.hot water fomentation and tablet Brufen 400 mg per day if pain is severe.
Once these vitamins will improve your bone strength you will be better and you will feel no pain.
