Brief Answer:
Please share the widal test report

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

I have gone though the attached report.

ESR test is non specific. It can be seen raised in many infections and can stay raised for weeks after the infection is cured. In this case Typhoid could be the reason. I would like to see the widal test report. Depending on the titre at which widal is positive, I can postulate well whether the ESR is due to typhoid or due to any other cause to be found.

Joint pains is a typical post infection syndrome symptom.

Let me have a look at he widal test report and then advice you on how to tackle.

Brief Answer:
ESR is due to typhoid

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the reports.

I have gone through the attached reports.

Based on the readings in the report, I am sure raise in ESR is due to typhoid infection itself.

It does take some time for the ESR to come down to normal.

I would recommend you to take protein rich diet to bring down the ESR.
