I have gone carefully through the entire query. I assume that the child is two years (and not months) old. It is very likely that the child would rock. The rocking causes the child to feel the vestibular sensation (change in balance sensation) and can find it to be stimulatory. It is normal in children of this age. It is not a cause for concern.
