Brief Answer:
Knot

Detailed Answer:
Hello. i just read through your question.
Fever and the urge to throw up, with or without a knot, are signs of infection. It is difficult to diagnose what the knot is without an examination. if she throws up and the symptoms resolve, you don't have to worry. If she throws up but still has symptoms, or she doesn't throw up and the symptoms continue to worsen, i recommend consulting with your doctor. An examination would be an important factor in making a diagnosis and implementing the appropriate treatment plan.
