Question: It has always been very difficult for me to have an orgasm. When I say difficult I mean extremely difficult. I can have an orgasm with my vibrator most of the time however during sex with my husband maybe 1 out of 10 times. We have seriously tried every position known to man. What is wrong with me?

To be XXXXXXX female sexuality is little understood despite major leaps and I do not think you have problem. Even if you go for general population statistics only one third of the women achieve orgasm with intercourse but the number rises to above 70 % when it is masturbation and that includes vibrator.

I mean to say that there is no problem with you but it could be lack of proper stimulation during intercourse in compare to stimulation by vibrator.


Having said this from my own experience I can say that spending enough time in foreplay helps most women to achieve orgasm during intercourse. I mean to say that both of you can spend more time on foreplay it may bring positive changes in likelihood of achieving orgasm.
