What Causes Lack Of Erection During Intercourse While On Stamlo?

Question: Hi, I am 49 year old and medically fit other than issue related to Blood pressure. I take stamlo 5 mg twice a day for BP issue (for last 20 years). My BP remain normal by taking this medicine. My weight is approx. 84kG. and I am 6'1 feet tall. I have an issue with ED and PE. Usually I get good erection normally however at the actual time of Intercourse I find it difficult to achieve erection. Few times I have tried taking sildenafil tab and I get good erection however I get lot of side effects in terms of headaches, congestion, etc. Request if you could suggest a solution

Since 5 pde inhibitors (read sildenafil) are doing good for you, you can ask your doctor to prescribe cialis instead of sildenafil.

This is because cislis have milder side effect profile in compare to sildenafil.

Considering your blood pressure for last 20 years i feel it will be more safer for you in compare to sildenafil.

whether changing bp medicine will help me to avoid using cialis or sildenafil ?

Antihypertensives are known cause of erectile dysfunction along with hypertension itself. It will be premature to say whether changing medication may help or not but there is always possibility of positive outcome.

Regarding alternative solution first we need to go for to find out the root cause of problem. Unless it is done It will be nothing more than a guess.

I request you to see your doctor for proper physical examination and laboratory investigations.
