Given the symptoms you are describing, this may be more than a yeast infection. It may be something else and a yeast infection in addition.
I strongly advise that you go in to see your family medicine physician or gynecologist to have a pelvic exam with a speculum to directly see what is going on. It's possible, from your description, that you may have uterine prolapse (which can feel like a bulging mass), a polyp on your cervix, or other causes.
If it turns out that this is purely a yeast infection and the swelling you are feeling is from inflammation, then other medications may be needed.
For post menopausal women who get a lot of irritation, sometimes a low dose of topical estrogen can make the tissues more healthy and resilient.
For resistant yeast infections, some gynecologists recommend boric acid capsules inserted vaginally at bedtime.
