What Causes Large Red Spots On Face?
Allergic rash
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the rash on your face.
I have gone through the problem and also seen the report attached to this question.
I am of the opinion that it looks like some sort of allergic rash (could be drug induced or insect bite or food)
You may take some antihistamine drug and a topical (cream) of corticosteroid can be effective. You may also apply calamine lotion which reduces the burning sensation.
Given the fact that the rash is red and causing burning sensation, it may be due to shingles which typically develops along with the distribution of a nerve.
Hope my suggestions could be of help to you.
Should you have any doubt, please feel free to send your question.
Best regards.
Thank you for your answer! I will give more information about how this rash changes . Today in the morning I did not see any rash , or red spots they gone but later afternoon they came back . Now , I don't have burning sensation like yesterday , some of red spots are itchy , some are not . Also , the spots change from belly to back , from feet to hands , they appear and disappear.
I am very scared and I can not sleep ! I am married with a beautiful wife and two kids !
Two weeks ago , I had unprotected sex with a female . This was in 17 March . Could be these spots related with HIV early stage ?
It depends upon the HIV status of the sex worker.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back to HCM.
The typical distribution of the rash some of them itchy and the fact that you had unprotected sex, the possibility of the HIV infection depends upon the HIV status of the sexual partner.
If the concerned partner is found to be HIV positive, then you will have to undergo necessary lab investigations to rule out HIV.
Meanwhile continue using calamine lotion, Wear light, loose clothing
Avoid using hot water when you shower
Use soaps that are mild.
Hope the suggestions made above could be of great help to you.
Best regards.
