What Causes Late Periods With Watery Discharge And Cramps?

Question: I was supposed to start my period today. For the last three days I've had brown spotty discharge and abdominal cramping. Today I started my period but it was watery and brown to pink in color. This is so sbnormal for me I had to ask. I was recently told I most likely have endometriosis at my last obgyn appointment which was only a little over a week ago. Could this be a factor? Also, everything was normal at my last appointment.

The brownish spotting and the pink discharge that you are having can be due to pregnancy or a hormonal imbalance. This can be due to endometriosis also. But it is best to rule out pregnancy using a urine for pregnancy test kit.
In case the cramps are severe then you may attend an ER for evaluation and treatment.
