What Causes Laziness And Loss Of Focus While On Encorate And Oxcarbazepine?
Question: Hello I am from XXXXXXX AGE 33 yrs.I have been on psychiatric medication since the yr 2005.I have a problem of mixing the medicines that is if i do not get my obsession cleared i take more ssri.This mixing of combination into doctors dosage has been ongoing for long until in dec 2014 i got epileptic fit due to mora than taking 450mg bupropion.I was admitted to hospital and after two days i recovered and since then i have no fits.But i changed the doctor and my mom and wife keep an eye on me whether i am taking medication in the right dosages or not.My mom gives me medicines herself.Now I am on encorate chrono 300 1-0-1 oxcarbazepine dt 300 1-0-1 fluoxetine 60 1-1-0 ziprasidone 80 1-0-1 propranololol 10 1-1-1 clonazepam 0.5 1-1-1 waklert(armodafinil) 150 1-0-0 .Now some time i feel laziness not that much but still so i take my smartphone and ly on my bed for hours which is making me lazy i think so.Although doctor has given armodafinil 150 still i am experiencing this.I just browse on my smartphone endlessly and acquire knowledge about various subjects.My mom and my wife tells me to take tuition but they tell me be consiistent in your knowledge before starting mathematics tuition.I want to invest money in stock market,but my mother tells me and also wife that my mental status is still not proper to do those intraday trading.I also many time make plan to do AMIE engg. but my decision keeps on changing.I have a free blog on blogger.com where i write about some topics but i do not give fully myself to that also like traffic generaation google adsense and other techniques. AS a result i reach no where and finally i ly on my bed and just do random browsing.Laziness is considered i have talked with doctor.Doctor told me to take arcalion(sulbutiamine) 200mg in morning?but still i am reaching no where.i feel better these days but i do not work on a single task properly so that i can earn some money.So please counsel me something or is there some wrong with medication i am taking?

You have become lazy and this is your main problem now. You are unable to focus on one task.
In my opinion, you are being over-medicated. This is probably causing laziness.
Encorate and oxcarbazepine were probably given to you for seizure control. I think only one drug (oxcarb or encorate) is sufficient. In your case, both the being given in under-dose. There should be no need of encorate if only oxcarb is working for you or otherwise.
You can also omit daytime dose of Clonazepam if your Anxiety is under control.
I think you should discuss about this with your doctor. Rather than adding drugs to activate you, it is first better to withdraw as many drugs as possible. This will reduce your laziness.
Discuss with your doctor and make dose changes accordingly.

My anxiety is very under control but once I stop encorate chrono 300 and continue with my fluoxetine dosage 60mg 1-1-0 and stop clonazepam in day. Then I continue oxcarbazepine 300 1-0-1. what abt ziprasidone 80 1-0-1.what about armodafinil 150 and propranolol 10 1-1-1. Doctor if I arrange this way oxcarbazepine 300 1-0-1 ziprasidone 80 1-0-1 clonazepam 0. 5 0-0-1. Propranolol 10 0-0-1.but what should be dosage of armodafinil 150 which I take in morning. Also what abt fluoxetine 60 1-1-0? Plz arrange this for me. And also how much arcalion should I take or stop that.

Thanks a lot Doctor I am taking your dosage from previous night and also in morning.Right on the first day I am feeling good and energetic buy reducing dosage as you have mentioned,but of late my libido is low and i do not want to go for tadalafil because it will increase blood pressure.Can you please recommend some ayurvedic medicine which would improve my libido?I weight 90kg Usually Blood pressure is normal 120/80.Appetite is normal but the attraction towards opposite sex is not there.I am MALE AGE 33 yrs Right now whatever medicines u have arranged for me I am taking that only.No other Ailments.Please help me.I am married since 2007, But still I have no child due to low libido.
