What Causes Left Eye Pain With Headaches While Lying Down?

Question: When I lay down on my left side my head hurts. A couple of weeks ago, laying on my left side I experienced sharp pain in my left eye. Pain subsided in eye(still minor irritation), but head still hurts a little when I lay down on that side.
