He has allergies at this time of year with runny nose and sneezing, sore throat. No smoking or alcohol problems. Takes tylenol for headaches and paxil for anxiety. Will take OTC cold medications at various times. He has an appt with doctor tomorrow. This is first time seeing this doc. He is on medicaid and has been to ER several times for various reasons including some of these symptoms with no conclusion other than to release him after bloodwork and ekg and suggesting he see his primary. What would you recommend asking the doctor and telling the doctor concerning his condition so that a possible diagnosis can be made.

Thanks for being on follow up.
Symptoms seems to be related to nerve(s) of the left arm dysfunction, so, he can ask for tests to evaluate further this condition.
As a start, simple tests such nerve conduction study of the left arm nerves could give sufficient evidence to support this possibility.
Additional tests such x-rays of the left wrist and neck also could give more information about arthropathy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Take care.
