What Causes Left Sided Abdominal Pain?
Question: I have had abdominal pain on the left side for three days. I feel the pain when I stand up or put any pressure on my abdomon.

There can be many causes of left abdominal pain .Since your history is not complete.I would also like to know other associated symptoms For example
1. if you have associated nauses or vomiting?
2.Do you get your pain after having meal or before having meal?
3.Have you had fever or chest infection (cough,difficulty in breathing) some days before getting pain?
4.Have you got some blood reports done ,if yes can you please share on attachments?
5.Have you had recently episode of loose motions or vomitings?
All above mentioned symptoms can be because of particular disease ,which can be concluded after knowing associated symptoms.
You may need some investigations tests to be done to know the cause ,so it can be treated accordingly.
1.Serum amylase
2.Chest Xray
3.Ultrasound abdomen
4.Endoscopy
all above mentioned tests should be done after discussing above mentioned associated symptoms.
