Probabilities:-
I feel sorry for the pain you have. Pain and discomfort in this area is usually due to the following reasons:
1. Stomach or small intestine ulcers due to hyperacidity. But you have not mentioned any history of indigestion, heartburn and regurgitation of stomach acid into mouth or esophagus.
2. Constipation.
3. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease-very common at this age. In this disease there is infection and pain in the area and is manageable by using antibiotics.
4. Muscular spasm of the abdomen. It happens due to repeated coughing due to respiratory infection. In this case patient feels pain even on walking, coughing, straining as in bowel movements or sneezing.
Medications guide:-
If it comes to be due to hyperacidity/stomach ulcer it has a different treatment that starts with Antacids and may need to test for h. Pylori infection of stomach that needs antibiotics course for cure. Sometimes we need to go for a GI endoscopy.
Muscular spasms of the abdomen may be cured by treating the underlying cause (respiratory infection if any). Plus application of topical analgesics like Voltaren gel.
Constipation can be cured through diet modification (adding more fiber containing foods) and Lactulose syrup.
Pelvic Inflammatory Disease needs antibiotics course like Azithromycin.
Final Suggestion:-
Please spare some time to make an appointment with your Primary Care Physician for thorough evaluation of the cause and if necessary, he may go for some diagnostic tests too. Treatment goes accordingly and I have already guided you for the same so that you may be able to discuss it with your Physician.
