What Causes Leg Pain Post Radiation Therapy For Prostate Cancer?

Prostatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
It is indeed hard to tell without examining you where the pain might be arising from however I had a patient with similar complaints post prostate radiation and this is how I went about it
1. Urine routine to see for pus cells
2. Examination of the prostate to look for tenderness
3. Total cpk is a good marker to look for muscle injury and inflammation of the muscle
4. Complete blood count to see for infection
I must add here that after ruling out all infection I did put my patient on steroids and he recovered well. It resolved because there was inflammation post radiation which responded well to steroids
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
Regards
