Question: For the past couple days every time I sit down my left leg starts to ache. like a XXXXXXX horse. it only happens when I am sitting down. if I'm standing or laying It doesn't bother me at all. it also feels like I am sitting some something under my left butt cheek. what could be the cause of this and should I be concerned? It doesn't bother whatsoever unless I am sitting down.

Brief Answer:
Can be nerve compression.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The ache only on sitting down can be due to a nerve compression at the level of lower spine- can be related to bad posture or a degenerative change in the spine. Proper diagnosis needs an MRI scan.
Methylcobalamin supplements and increasing the fluid intake can help till then.
I hope this answers your query.
