What Causes Leg Swelling In A Diabetic While On Prednisone?

Question: My wife is on prednisones because she has Sarcodois she is also a diabetic the prednisones is making her sugar go up however her feet and her legs up to her knees are swollen and her skin is so tight it is a bout to burst

Hi welcome to HCM, I have seen the picture. Your wife has severe fluid retention leading to swelling in legs due to prednesolone.

Best drug to prevent and treat this is Spironolactone. I see she has already tried a water pill. But Spironolactone in adequate doses should help.
