Brief Answer: Measure temperature now, wait and watch Detailed Answer: Hi, The medical literature does not measure the gap between voidings but would measure the total quantity per day. So you should not be worried about 8 hour gap instead watch out how many times and how much in a day. Check the temperature under arm and skin elasticity. You can continue water and coconut water as well, else milk should do. If the temperature is over 101 degree you should see a doctor. Keep the surroundings cool or sprinkle normal water and dry the body. Hope this helps.
