Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am sorryt to hear that you are feeling off. This is entirely due to your diuretic. The diuretic will change your potassium and sodium levels and that can make one feel strange. the electrolyte imbalance caused by a diuretic is very common and should improves once you stop the diuretic. It usually takes a few days to reverse the problem. To help reverse the imbalance eat a good health diet with a high amount of green leafy vegetables and broccoli. These foods are high in potassium and sodium.
It could also be that the diuretic caused dehydration or even renal failure. As this is common also with diuretics and again will improve after stopping and drinking plenty of fluids.
I am glad to hear that you stopped and that you are scheduled for labs. This way you will know what is going on.
I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
