Question: At 7 weeks I got diagnosed with a subchroniac hemorage I will be 11 weeks tomorrow. No spotting of any kind until today. I had light brown mucus discharge when I wiped. No cramping or pain. Could this be a result of my sch?
Brief Answer:
Could be due to SCH.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The light brown mucus discharge could be due to sch. It is the bright red bleeding that is more worrisome. Still it is best to take a complete bed rest, continue with your medications and go for a regular ultrasound scan to monitor the growth o your baby.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.

Is it common that i have not had any bleeding at all since diagnosed with sch. Ive only had the light brown discharge happen twice in 24 hours. I thought sch usually you have red blood that follows with brown?
Brief Answer:
Mild SCH can cause a brown discharge.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
In SCH if it is a mild one and the active bleeding has stopped then you may see only a brown discharge. Bright red blood is seen only if the active bleeding is still continuing.
Hope my answer is helpful.
