Brief Answer:
It is normal.
Detailed Answer:
Greetings,
There's a difference between the digesting capabilities of an infant and adult.
sometimes due to mild infection which has occurred the stool changes. it is generally self limiting.
in case you are trying to wean then some changes in stool habit is also normal.
so in a nut shell if your child is alert, active and drinking well. there's nothing to worry. the stools will again become normal.
hope this has helped.
thanks and regards.

When should i worry about liver issues with this colour of stools?
Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Greetings,
Sorry for the late reply.
I would not be worried about liver issues if it's just happening since few days.
But I would watch the child cautiously
- if there is history of liver diseases running in the family
- if the child is extremely lethargic and won't feed
- if the child has excessive symptom like vomiting, diarrhea etc,
- if the child turning yellowish (icteric).
If they are present, the treating doctor should examine the liver before proceeding to investigate further.
Hope this has helped.
Regards
