What Causes Light Spotting Post Intake Of Regestrone?

Question: i have taken regestrone for 5 days but it is 10 days I did not get my periods I only had a light spotting there is one functional ovarian cyst we're trying for a baby my doctor suggested me to take Diane 35 for 1 month after this period. can I assume this one as period so as to start diane35. please suggest me the needed advise for pregnancy as we r waiting to. Married for 30 months now.

As per my idea, u think I would have a period after taking diane35. So can me and my husband get together after that period.
