Question: Hi,

I was cleaning laundry room which is not vented and I knocked over the breech and spilt it all over the floor about 1/3 of the bottle. The room has a drain most of it drained i used the rest to mop the floor.

I was in the room for about 30 mins then I got light headed so I headed out side. I let the room vent for a bit then I went back in a cleaned it up.

I got a light headache as the day went on and now chest is burning a bit. I have no problem breathing just brining sensation in the chest this happened around 5 hours ago.

Should I got to er?

Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on your description, it appears to be a mild allergic reaction to the contents of the bleach. The dizziness points towards a possible vasovagal syncope or black out that was about to occur. It wont be a bad idea to go to an ER near you to get examined by a doctor. The chest can be auscultated for any wheezing or other abnormal pattern. Any possible exposure should be minimized by removing the exposed clothing and taking a bath. Oxygen saturation via pulse oximetry, blood sugar and blood pressure can also be checked. If required then O2 inhalation, salbutamol and antihistamines can be offered as treatment according to the clinical findings.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
