What Causes Lightheadedness, Confusion And Vision Disturbances
The team doctors felt concussion. However, he had a cat scan, mri, sleep study, blood work and saw a neuropsychologist for testing along with a visual therapist. Everything was normal . He is now experiencing light headedness again. He also has a weird blood pressure of about a 60 pt scan.. ie 125/60. Initially the doctor thought maybe this was the issue. My family has a history of vertigo and lightheadedness. grandfather mother. Just wondering you input. He has an apt at the end of the week again.
Tensive headache or anxiety disorder
Detailed Answer:
Dear
thank you for trusting HCM
I read carefully your query and understand your concern
First you have to be calm as you have done the right examinations and all risky pathologies have been excluded.
In my opinion depending on the symptoms you prescribed and examination I think your son is trying to imitate the symptoms of your other familiar ( the one who have suffered similar symptoms before).
I don't think you have reason to be worried too much
I would recommend to avoid caffeine, chocolates and energy drinks
In my opinion no treatment is needed
Suggest healthy meals to your son full of vegetables and fresh fruits
NSAID's can be helpful occasionally on light headedness.
Hope I have been helpful
Please feel free to ask further questions for information or doubts
Wish you all the best

Not the heart, metabolic studies
Detailed Answer:
Dear
thank you for coming back
There are several causes which can explain your son symptoms
Most often is brain
Brain is excluded by the right examinations you have already done
Heart is unlike to cause those symptoms
I would reccomend to schedule some test to exclude some metabolic disorder (such as glucose levels or malabsorption tests)
In general brain disorders are irreversible so you need to explore in other ways
Not the heart probably any minor metabolic disorder
In my opinion it is just anxiety but better be sure
Exlude metabolic disorder and then you can be sure that nothing is missing, it is just anxiety
Hope my answer will lead you to the right diagnose and will avoid similar situations in the future
Please review my answer if you are satisfied or feel free to ask further questions
Wish you good health
