What Causes Lightheadedness While Standing In A Heart Patient?

Question: I have a question concerning my husband. He had two stents put in about 7 months ago and seems to be doing terrific but has complained a lot about cold feet. It can be almost 80 outside and his feet are cold. He is also experiencing being lightheaded when standing up from a sited position. I have told him to get up slowly to see if it helps. Do I need to concern that any of this is heart related? Thank you XXXX

Dear Ms
Experiencing light headedness while assuming standing position from sitting position suggest the possibility of postural hypotension. When am individual especially if he is on anti hypertensive or anti anginal medication stands there is fall in blood pressure and decreaaed blood flow to brain causing such symptoms. Cold feet are also due to same.
Moving the legs well and slowly standing will be helpful.
There is no reason to be worried about the status of heart.
In case you require any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
