Question: Hello Doctor,
I am having a liquid discharge around scrotum adjoining tigh. this liquid create wound all around where it spread. please help me out

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

It is quite possible that you are having Chylous discharge or “chylorrhea” from the scrotum secondary to filariasis. Go for blood smear (thick) examination for microfilaria after dinner around 11 PM for 03 days..Filariasis is a treatable condition.
Alternatively the condition can be due to fungal infection in scrotal and adjacent skin of thigh with Id reactions . Examination of skin scraping with KOH preparation for fungal hypae will confirm the diagnosis.

You can upload a close-up photo of the region affected ,if possible without compromising privacy.It will be easier to come to a diagnosis.
