What Causes Lose Motion And Dizziness While Walking In Elderly?
Question: I am 60 year female . I am diabetic from last 3 years . From last one month having lose motion and dizziness while walking . No dizziness when sitting.
Hi
Get your BP and blood glucose checked.
Lose motions could be due to autonomic dysfunction caused by high blood glucose or and the dizziness may occur if the BP is abnormal.

Brief Answer:
Dizziness could be due to dehydration or abnormal BP
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM
I appreciate your concern for the dizziness while walking.
Since you have diabetes for the past three years, if blood glucose is not controlled the nerves of intestines are affected resulting in increasing bowel habits like lose motions, etc. Lose motions can result in dehydration to the extent of causing a fall in BP and hence dizziness while walking.
Dizziness while walking is due to postural hypotension which occurs due fall in BP while changing the posture like from sitting to standing.
Therefore, you are advised to visit your doctor for proper evaluation and treatment according to the cause.
I hope your doubt has been clarified.
Take care of your health.
