Question : Good morning Dr. XXXXXXX You have advised me to take the following medicines for 6 months to treat my chronic headache and pain/current like sensation in the calf muscle of right leg:-

1. Tryptomer 10 mg
2. Sibelium 10 mg
3. Maxmala Forte

I have already taken these medicines for 2 months and shall continue for 4 more months. There is immense relief in headache and right leg calf muscle. Every since I have started these medicines, the only issue I am facing is that there is substantial drop in my sexual desire. Please advise some medicine to overcome this problem.

Hello,
The drug amitriptyline and pregabalin can have side effects with decrease in sexual activities.
You can decrease amitriptyline to 5 mg daily for a month and then stop.
Continue Maxmala Forte and sibelium.
No additional drug for sexual disturbances.
