Brief Answer:
Can be treated at home.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The loss of sensation is likely to be due to local tissue swelling causing the local nerve compression. This will decrease as the swelling subsides. I have seen the attached image. It seems to be a minor cut. You can bandage it, take proper pain killers and antibiotics and in case the swelling is immense or the movement of finger is restricted then do consult your physician.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
