What Causes Loss Of Sleep, Headache And Swelling In Parts Of The Spinal Cord?
Question: I am going in psychological problem of loss of sleep, headche from 2 yrs. Dr pricribe medicine like franxit, paraxtra 12.5, paracen 12.5. Neurologist said no problem in head. I have done MRI, CT scan of brain. In MRI of conical spine report dr said normal prblm od disc bulge at the C3-C4 to C6-C7 level causing indintation over the ventral subarchnoid space with no evidnce of neural compression. so please give me advice.

sometimes depression or any other psychiatric illness results in sleep problem and headache so first of all we need to know underlying problem and for that detail history and mental status examination is necessary.
your MRI report is normal somewhat abnormal but not ill effect on your body.
what are the associated features you have with sleep disturbance, headache?
like appetite disturbance, sadness of mood, loss of interest, easy irritability, negative thoughts etc...
paroxetine and franxit are good molecule but thare are many other drugs which helps you a lot like desvenlaflexine, duloxetine, imipramine, amitryptiline etc..
continue zicam 0.5 mg for sleep.
Discuss with your treating doctor.

Dr said to me stop the medicine before 10 days. and i have stoped medicine before 10 days but in night time i am not getting sleep then i am taking zicam 0.5 mg.
now a days pack pain of neck stared thats why i am conslting neurologist. dr prescribed thioact D 4 and opinanol 50. i am only taken thioct D 4.and opiranol 50 take to not feeling good. dr said u r nt feeling better thn come aftr 4 to 5 days.
so what ur advice

according to me your problem is somatic pain and it is better treated by psychiatrist.
You can go to neurologist in follow up onceand discuss about pregabaline and gabapentine medication.
There are many medication which has good result in somatic pain which i described previously.
You can take zicam 0.5 mg if not getting sleep its not having any problem.

Psychatrist said me stop the medicine bt 2weeks goes then back pain of neck started. Today i am cming frm neurologist .they pricribe me thiaoct D 4, olimelt 5, and not gud feel or any more pain to lonazep MD 0.5 .i am confuse ...wht to do??
