Brief Answer:
Visual cortex affected

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I have gone carefully through the attached summary. The loss of vision is due to gliosis affecting the visual cortex. In other words, your eyes can see but your brain's capacity to interpret the image is lost. It is unfortunate but there is practically nothing that can be done about it.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
