What Causes Low BP After Having Elantan?

Blood tests ok. Arteries"open" one said no blockage after test 3 years ago. Other says without any test bar echocardiogram there MUST be some blockage. At least 15%. But heart healthy. Cannot understand. Is elantan too strong? Only that available or else elantan 20 tabs by state.
Further Dose reduction is mandate in your case.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.
Good to have you back.
I understand your concern.
You still seem to have postural hypotension.
This necessitates further modification in the drug dosage.
The large contributor nocturnal drop of blood pressure in your case is Elantan 50 LA.
I strongly recommend the dose of Elantan LA is brought down to 25mg once day at bedtime.
Similarly Atenlol 75 mg can be brought down to 50 mg to be taken in the morning, followed by the prescribed dose of Pharmapress in the afternoon.
Avoid additional BP lowering drugs in the night except Elantan LA 25mg.
Please note all these drug dose modifications have to be taken only under strict medical supervision.
A Coronary angiogram is needed to rule out blockades in the heart.
Echocardiogram is not sensitive for this purpose
Thank you.

Avoid Lasix.Pharmapress once daily enough
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.
Yes sir ,you can open this discussion at your ease after 3 days.
I strongly advise you to avoid Lasix as it can contribute to serious electrolyte imbalances along with low blood pressure in the elderly.
You can take pharmapress once daily since amtas2.5 is being taken twice a day.
Elantan can be taken twice a day at 20 mg dose.
Do not make trials with Lasix.
The above prescription should suit you the best.
Post your further queries,if any.
Thank you.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.
I understand your concern.
The current dose modifications as per your needs are are quite scientific and can be followed as such .
BP at 130/74 seems appropriate for your age right now.
Avoid lasix to prevent electrolyte and BP fluctuations as far as possible.
Half the scheduled doses can be followed as long as the BP is the range of 130-140/70-90.
Avoid overcorrection.
Thank you.
