What Causes Low BP Along With Dizziness, Nausea, Blurred Vision, Leg Weakness And Intermittent Chills While On Medication For Diabetes?

Question: Hi Doc
This query is for my sister. She is diabetic and was on medication two times - Tragenta and Ecosprin and some others (Prescribed by doc when she went for her regular blood check up for diabaties).
All of a sudden last week after a drive, she started feeling very dizzy, weakness, nausea, blurred eyes, weakness in legs and on and off chills.
Went to doc, they said the blood pressure is little low 80/60, suggested to drink lot of water, increase in take of salt.
But nothing helped, when she is lying down or resting she feels okay but when she stands feels very dizzy and faint like feeling.
We went to a different doc, Blood pressure was 100/80 and the doc said it is due to the high dosage of diabetes tablet causing this issue and we checked the GRBS which was 100.
Doc changed the medicine and suggested not to have any medicine for diabetes for while and get the fasting and PP test.
We went and tested this yesterday morning. In Fasting it was 107 and PP was 208.
Still doc said not to have any diabetes medicine and prescribed to have
But still she isn't feeling any better. Continues dizzy feeling when she stands up. Other symptoms are on and off. From morning she is having stomach pain also (like regular stomach cramps)
As we don't have good medical facility back at my home town, we are really worried. Its been one week now with all these symptoms.
Could you please review the above problems and suggest further actions.
Thanks in advance.

Brief Answer:
Need more details.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Is she still taking Ecosprin? From when is she diabetic? From when did she start taking medicines?
For low blood pressure, she has to have adequate fluids around 4 lts/day. Let her have lemon juice with a pinch of salt. She can add pickles to her diet.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
May require admission to rule out lactic acidosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It looks like she may be having lactic acidosis. It is a common complication in diabetes which can lead to accumulation of lactic acid in the blood, some of the symptoms include dizziness and stomach pain.
I would suggest you to immediately get a blood test - Serum Electrolytes. She may have to get IV sodium bicarbonate infusion or may have to take tablets of sodium bicarbonate.
Please visit a nearby physician who has at least daycare facilities to get these evaluated.
I hope this answered your query.
