Detailed Answer:
Hello Ma'am
After going through the medical details provided by you I would like to tell you that normal recommended range of blood pressure for an adult upto 60 yrs of age is 140/90 mmhg. Slight variations of 145 or 95 are accepted and don't require any action.
However if blood pressure is going beyond 150 then things need to be take care of. So before starting you on any meds I would like to suggest you to keep a record of your blood pressure daily at same time for a week. If constantly it stays above 150 then let me know we will advise some medicatons.
Also along with this I would like to suggest you to get basics blood test like CBC and thyroid profile done also one ecg.
Also you need to start some lifestyle modifications like going for a brisk morning walk for 45 mins a day for 5 days a week.
2. No smoking if you do.
3. Reduction in daily dietary salt intake
4. Avoiding junk food and drinks that contains caffeine like coffee
5. Include good amount of fresh fruits and vegetables in daily diet.
Make these changes a part of your daily life and probably you won't need any meds.
I hope this information will be helpful.
Kind regards
Dr Bhanu partap
