What Causes Low BP While On Amlodipine?

Question: I'm taking amlodipine, dose 2.5 mg daily to control high blood pressure. Recently my blood pressure
has fallen close to 100. I feel dizzy especially when I get up from a sitting position. Do I reduce the dose?
I have no other symptoms. I also take atenolol 100 mg daily and flowmax one tablet once daily.
Thank you.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
I understand your concern and would explain that low blood pressure could be related to your actual therapy.
That is why, I would recommend stopping amlodipine (as 2.5mg is a really low dose and there is no sense in dividing it).
If your blood pressure is still low after stopping amlodipine, I would recommend reducing the dose of atenolol to 50mg daily.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
