Brief Answer:
Symptoms are not be related to diverticulitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for posting your query on HCM,

I am pleased to be able to assist you.

The disease condition you had that lead you being administered in the hospital for 6 days was diverticulitis which I do not think is related to your new developed symptom/sign as you mentioned. The low white cell count could be related to immune deficiency status which might be due to an autoimmune disease or could not really be significant low white cell count. I also believe that the petechia and the low cell count. Treatment administration that you received during the hospitalization maybe the cause of this. I believe you should discuss with your doctor for further investigation.

Hope this helps and wish you the best.
