In absence of more information- and based on the facts provided, You seem to have subclinical enterocolitis which is causing discomfort and tenderness on left side below the ribs along with accompanied fever.

In your case it needs to be differentiate it from other causes for such complaints for which you may need second opinion from your family doctor after physical examination and Specialist Surgeon doctor if need be.

Please update more details of the past illness / any change in diet -or outside street food eating,lately.

Give past history about similar complaints.Any past history of common cold and sinus infection or cough lately.

As the pain is related to your under ribs on left side and for your age,You need to be cautious and alert and prompt in attending it from your GP doctor,as heart ailment and other causes need to be ruled out before starting further treatment in your case.

Do's -
Don't self medicate and carry over for long time.
Bland Diet with Butter Milk would recoup the disturbed bowel fast
Antibiotic-Tab Ciplox OZ- 1 tab x 2 times a day x 5 days time
Tab Bentyl-1 tab x 2 times a day x 5 days time-for antispasmodic pain killers
and Tab Zincovit x 1 tab x 15 days
