Chronic gastroenteritis.Fever is suggestive of infection in body.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for query.
Most likely you are suffering from Gastroenteritis. It is an intestinal infection marked by diarrhoea, cramps, nausea, vomiting and fever. It usually takes 10-14 days to limit itself. However when its viral or helminthic it requires antibiotic treatment.
As already 4 weeks have passed its better to take 5 days antibiotic and anti protozoal course.(prescription required)
Tab Ofloxacin 200 mg twice a day(9a.m-9 p.m)
Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice daily(9a.m-9p.m)
Tab Calpol SOS for fever.
Drink plenty of rehydration solution.
As infection would settle down things would be normal.
Thanks.
