What Causes Low Levels Of Sodium In Blood?

Question: How can you manage low sodium, if it is severe?
Brief Answer:
Increase intake by food
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.
If this is severe then he should have intravenous sodium infusion under strict medical supervision. However, exact cause of low sodium should be diagnosed first and it may be kidney dysfunction, hormonal imbalance or too low intake.
Sodium can be taken with food or supplement but medication may be required if there is some if the disorders that I've mentioned.
Wish you good health.
