Brief Answer:
Is he having any symptoms like fever, diarrhea, cough, difficulties eating?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these laboratory findings. I will like to know if you child has any worrisome symptoms and what the reasons for these laboratory investigation were? If there are no symptoms, I will say stay relaxed and follow up with a control. However, if there are any symptoms, then we would need to follow up and look closer to understand what the exact cause is for appropriate treatment.

In all, if he has no symptoms, simply control the findings as recommended by your doctor in two weeks. It would be rare that he has an infection with no symptoms. If there are any symptoms, report to me for analysis and more insights from me.

I hope this addresses your question fully. I wish your son well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
Okay......Let's get a control in 2 weeks!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this follow up response.

Low platelets, low hematocrit and low WBCs may raise the suspicion with the bone marrow that is responsible for producing these cells. I will will suggest that you see a hematologist for this.. More investigations would be needed to get this well understood.

I hope this helps. I wish your son well. Let me know if this is a plan that you would pursue. Thanks.
