Brief Answer:
Platelet count below normal. Requires evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Jyothi BL and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. The normal platelet count range is between 150-400 thousand.
2. Your platelet count is 65 thousand, which is way below normal limit but manageable limit.
3. You are being evaluated for the cause of low platelet count - any nutritional cause or any other. Usually Vit B12 deficiency causes low platelet count along with anemia. If no cause identified, this count does not require any further management. Bleeding time will be normal, with this platelet count.

If more clinical details of any recent infection or medication history available, further opinion possible.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
