What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Fever In Absence Of Periods?

Question: I haven't had my period for 7 months because I have IUD Mirena. I felt and extreme pain last Thursday Nov 27th in my lower abdomen area. It caused high fever

And the pain lasted for hours. I screamed from the pain. I went to the doctor and urine test, everything was normal. I had no infection. I still had pain only when there pressure made a certain area on my lower abdomen area. The doctor said I could have ovary cyst. I took an ultrasound. Internal and external. I will go see the doctot again this Friday. But something weird happened. After I arrived home, i went to the washroom and I saw blood coming out from my vagina. It's like my period, I think. Could the internal type of ultrasoundtriggered my period to come?

You have got your periods and hence the bleeding.

Internal ultrasound scan has nothing to do with this.

The pain you ad was premenstrual pain as you had not your periods for a long time.
