What Causes Lower Abdominal Pressure After Taking Several Oral Contraceptives?
Question: I have pressure on my lower abdomen.
I had an abortion on the 5th december (medical) i bled for 7 days, on the 9th day i had unproted intercourse. And took a morning after pil, after a week after the morning after pill i bled again for one week and after a week of stopping bleeding i had intercourse again and took microgynon 4 tablets and then 4 tablets 24 hours later. I dont understand why i have pressure and could i be pregannt again.

Most likely it is all due to excessive proliferation of endometrium caused by all the pills taken just Ina month so you will feel relief only after you will menstruate now.
There seems negligible risk of pregnancy because it takes a minimum of 3 weeks for ovulation to return after abortion.
So just wait for your periods and from the very first day of your periods start oral pills for proper control of cycle, good endometrial health and of course a regular and reliable contraception.
It is not a good practice to take emergency pill every time you indulge in sexual activity as it will make your ovulation pattern and menstruation very erratic.

In my opinion there are no chances of pregnancy in your case but to be double sure do a urine pregnancy test after 16 days of your last unprotected intercourse.
If negative then just wait for your periods and avoid unprotected intercourse or emergency pill in this time period.

Ive had unprotected sex with micro gynon 4 now and i will take for tomorow. I will refrain from sex but i am worried that i may get pregnant again. Does the mycro gynon have same effect as morning after pill. Aslo does the pill become less effective if it is taken more than once
