Question: I have lower back pain , maybe kidney pain every morning when I wake up. Once I urinate and move around and continue with my day, it goes away. YYYY@YYYY

Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
To recapitulate: Male/62 - lower back pain - every morning when you wake up* - it goes away once you urinate, move around and continue with your day - hence you are thinking that this most probably is a kidney pain - taking Crestor and Levothyroxine . .

I do agree with you to a certain extent that there can be such a correlation, but in medical science we need facts.
Another reason can be muscular - getting relaxation as the time goes by daily activities. The pain in the morning is called morning stiffness and eases as the day passes by.

Hence to get a proper diagnosis you need the following:
Clinical evaluation, actual examination and investigations to get the exact cause:
- Ultrasonography of the whole abdomen.
- X-ray of the thoraco-lumbar spine to start with and MRI if required as per the clinical evaluation.
- Tests of urine, blood and stool.
All these together can get you the most correct diagnosis and the correct diagnosis alone can lead to the appropriate treatment.
