What Causes Lower Left Quadrant Pain And Nausea?
Question: I had a tubal ligation 8 years ago. I'm experiencing cramps in my left lower quadrant (in the public region), severe breastfeeding tenderness, & nausea that began last night. Is there a possibility I can be pregnant? My period is not due til the 25th
Brief Answer:
these are PMS
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
thanks for contacting Helathcaremagic.
If you have had tubal ligation done 8 years back and if it would have been a failure then , 8 years is a long time not to get pregnant. It is unlikely to be any pregnancy instead such symptoms may be seen in cases of premenstrual syndrome OR PMS which indicate that your menses should be ensuing in a week or so .
They may start a week prior to menses depending on the hormonal status varying from person to person.
