Brief Answer:
Diabetes and Hypothyroidism may cause these symptoms.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.
So then, you have got quite a clinical background, which may result in such kind of leg pain.
Diabetic neuropathy can be one cause and should be ruled out.Physical examination and Nerve conduction studies will be helpful in establishing the same.
Further,Hypothyroidism can itself cause such leg pains.
For now,I suggest you to get a fresh Thyroid function tests and fasting blood sugar to get an idea of the current sugar and thyroid hormone control. Glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1C) should also be done.
In the meanwhile, you should try these measures which may help in combating these leg pains-
1)Warm shower about 1-2 hours before you go to sleep.
2)Massaging the legs
3)Stretching the legs
4)Good hydration(at least 3-4 litres of water per day)
Medicines can be started if pain does not respond even to these measures. Knowing the cause(if it is neuropathy or poor thyroid control) will further help in treating the same.
If you have further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up else please close the thread, rate it and write a review.
