What Causes Lower Mild Abdominal Pressure And Pain Especially With Urination?
Question: I have been experiencing lower mid abdominal pressure and pain especially with urination. I had a urine test done and no bladder/ kidney infection. I have also had a fever, nausea, occasional back pain but not much. And I am experiencing a lot of abdominal bloating. My appendix has been removed. Could these be symptoms of kidney stones?
Brief Answer:
cystitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query
I am Dr. Alok and very pleased to be assisting you with your health questions today.
with your history, it seems that you have cystitis or Pelvic inflammatory disease, these are diagnosed clinically and not by urine exam. I think ultrasound abdomen is required and you need to see your GP for evaluation. I donot think that it is due to kidney stones, but only ultrasound can confirm it.
Hope this helps and provides answers to your question.
If you have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to ask me again
I wish you good health, take care
